Glenn has produced over 140 hypnosis and meditation audios which have been published through BBC Audiobooks, Orion and his own company Diviniti Publishing. His audio titles are hugely popular on sites like Audible, Storytel, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, The Appstore and The Google Play store.
In recent years Glenn’s Relax & Sleep Well App has become one of the world’s biggest grossing self-help Apps and has been downloaded over three million times. It has been number one in the iTunes lifestyle chart in over 50 countries and reached number 5 in the USA.
On the world’s number one Meditation App, Insight Timer, which features the work of thousands of well-known self-help authors Glenn is the sixth most popular author and his meditations have been listened to over six million times and received over 100,000 five star reviews. He has over 130,000 followers on this platform.
In 2006 Glenn was awarded a gold disc from Nielsen BookData for sales of £250,000 of his best-selling hypnosis CD, Complete Relaxation. This was the only title ever to be awarded a gold disc in the self-help genre.
In May 2011 he was made a Fellow of The British School of Clinical Hypnosis in acknowledgement of his achievements in the world of hypnotherapy. Glenn now happily resides in Lagos on the Portuguese Algarve with his family and primarily uses Skype to work with clients and record webinars and interviews.
Glenn has been interviewed on BBC Radio 2's Steve Wright in the Afternoon show on three occasions and has also appeared on BBC One's BBC Breakfast show to discuss sleeping disorders. He has been interviewed by Johnny Walker and Eamonn Holmes and been a guest on dozens of regional BBC radio shows.
His recordings have been featured on Sky Sports, Channel 4 and his case studies and story have been featured in many British newspapers and magazine articles. In September 2009, The Daily Mail and Closer Magazine featured an article about some of the celebrities that he successfully helped to overcome addictions and phobias. In 2010 he appeared on Wedding TV show ‘So Would You Dump Me Now?’
Before becoming a hypnotherapist Glenn made a living as a musician playing in pubs, clubs and restaurants. Glenn has written many songs over the years. Some have been published and some have won prizes in major song writing competitions.
In his teens, as a punk rocker, Glenn played the bass in a band called The Vagrants who morphed into the Sugar Ray Five. In 1983 they won £10,000 in the BBC1 National Battle of the Bands competition. Paul Gambaccini was the head judge who raved about their sound and songs. They were then signed to a major label, released a couple of singles and appeared on various TV shows. Alas, their all too brief taste of success came and went like Halley’s Comet.
Later on, Glenn and his ex-wife Alyson (a talented vocalist who was a member of The Anderson Sisters) began writing songs together. A few years later, they started performing as a duo called Wishful Thinking, playing cover songs in clubs, pubs, hotels and restaurants.
Towards the end of the ‘90s, Glenn moved away from the covers circuit to focus on building Diviniti Publishing, which is still the main label for his hypnosis recordings. Glenn still occasionally writes and records songs and some of his songs can be heard on his SoundCloud page.
